Lights question

Hey guys, so I've always thought the reverse bulbs on my 4Runner were a bit dark. When I swapped in the 06-09 LED tails they seemed even darker. Well earlier this week I got my windows tinted to 5% and last night I was backing in the driveway after dark...holy cow I couldn't see! I know a lot of that was dark tint but I mean it was almost 100F today, and for that the tint is nice.

So my question is if anyone has experience with the Sylvania Zevo LED lights. I guess I'm wondering if they are any brighter than standard reverse lights and if a resistor needs installed since it is a LED and the current bulbs are set up as halogen. I read on here that the best way to get the super bright reverse lights is to wire in some aftermarket LEDs below the bumper that are either connected to the reverse lights or on their own auxiliary switch. But I'll be honest guys I'm lazy, it's hotter than the devil's butt crack, I just don't want to go that in depth right now and I don't think the wife will let me back my truck into the house to do the work in A/C.

Also wondering if anyone has tried the Sylvania FogVision 9006 bulb. I looked at the PIAA and Hella counterparts but reviews weren't great. I can't really find any reviews on these but I seem to be hearing that yellow light-emitting bulbs don't last as long as whites or blues. I'm not an expert on light spectrum science though so maybe one of you out there who are smarter than me can tell me if there's any fact behind that.

Thanks y'all.

I have the 03-05 taillights and just swapped in some cheap led replacements from Amazon that had good reviews and they're insanely bright. Didn't require any resistors or extra wiring, some even came with the led interior swap kit I got. I'm not quite sure how similar the reverse bulb set up is on late model runners though.

The brake lights and turn signals come as LED in the late model 4th gens, but the back up light is the same incandescent.

I don't think LED reverse lights are going to help you with that 5% tint. I've got 20% on the rear and bought LED's for the same reason - did not help. They definitely throw more light, but not enough to make much of a difference.

i honestly do not know what 5% Tint is... my 07 SR5 is factory or distribution-point [usually southeast toyota in the USA??] tinted. Good tint too, btw.
with those LED's in the post, I see fine in the dark - my habit is to look in the sideview mirrors or crank down the driver glass and stick my head out, but that's just my idiosyncrasies, I don't find looking through the rear hatch window of any value.

Let me also mention Fireflyz - A vendor with stores on both Ebay and Amazon. I ran across these fellow Texans while trying and failing multiple times to get useful LED's for hatch & dome of my 07. MANY people just aren't honest about these and I was getting pretty short-tempered with vendors and wasting time sending their crappy product back to them, including these guys initially. They had some LED's that, like others, were ALMOST a fit but weren't, wasting my time again. But after some chat, the manager over there got a mftr to make some that are the right length, and pointy enough to set in the notches in our dome and hatch retainers. They work fabulous!
finally. So, they make up kits with a number of different application LED's specific to the 4th gen and other 4runners. Here are the kit number he sent me when I asked for NEW kit numbers that have the correct hatch/dome bulbs, and the others. I have not yet tried the running board etc lights.

5% tint means that only 5% of light gets through the window - a 95% reduction in light transmission. That's why I think the LED lights aren't going to do much.
