LimaSierra's '18 TRD Off-Road Build and Pic Thread

Purchased my first T4R this week. Dealer was able to intercept an "M" status 2018 TRD Off-Road and I was able to pick the color and port options I like. Eliminated some of the port options that most Texas Off-Road's come with, and routed that $ saved into mods I can choose/do myself.

Dealer is currently doing some cosmetic mods and I will be doing some as well. Should take delivery in a few days!

First time T4R runner myself. Just picked up a 2018 OR in Super White last week. It’s been fun to drive so far.

What cosmetic mods are being done by the dealer?

Blackout bumper accents as well as LED main, drl, turns and fogs completed. Toyota lettering grille also being done today as well as blackout badging.

Got some all weather mats yesterday. Had crap luck with the WeatherTecs in our ESV, so went with Husky this round. Also got a cargo mat as well.

Also picked up some Lamin-x for the fogs.

If you don't mind me asking, how much did the dealer charge to upgrade all of those lights to LED?

How did they black out your TRD Off Road emblems? Did they use the Nox Lux overlays or paint/dip them?

I just picked up my 2018 TRD Off Road about 3 weeks ago. First easy option was weather tech floor liners all around. I'm trying to decide on wheels / tires first or go with a lift first. It will be a two step process as funds dictate. My kids need to eat.... Where did you get your TRD wheels and what size tires are you running. You rig looks sweet right out of the box!

What is a "M" status 4Runner? Also, could you tell a big difference in the LED bulbs vs the factory? Which bulbs did you get?

Didn't have great luck with Weathertech mats. Had three sets sent to my for my ESV and all three curled and buckled. Driver, Pass and Rear Cargo. Very disappointed. Hopefully you will have better luck.

Dealer gave me credit for my OE wheels and tires, so had them put on the BFG A/T KO2 tires (265/70 - 17) and TRD rims.

M status is where you can change the color (Ext and Int) as well as port options. Could be called something else officially. Yes, LEDs are MUCH brighter. Lumen is the brand.

Painted them in the body shop prior to delivery.
