Limited interior trim for manual 4runners, any help?

I am looking to throw the wood trim in my dark green sr5. It's a stick and all limited were automatics. Has anyone ever put this in a manual? Do any of the companies make the shifter base for a manual?

I looked at ebay but it's all automatic oem stuff I'm finding.

Or I'll just stop trying.. lol

Idk about the manual base but, there are people on here that would trade you their oem wood interior for your black interior for free. a lot of people dislike the limited wood.

I know haha. It's kind of a whim thing, I have one black trim piece that is cracked so I was going to switch it up and see. This will all come falling apart though if I can't match it up with a shifter base. Seeming like it's not worth the effort with each attempted google search.

Also keep in mind that all of the plastic "wood" Limited trim is not the same pattern and color. I've seen lighter golden brown trim that almost looks like tortoise shell and other trim that just looks dark brown with very little pattern or variation in color. Mixing and matching Limited trim is probably not going to get you a unified set.

Not me. I'm the opposite, I love the fake wood trim. Wish they had done the entire trim of the 97s with it.

This is the trim in mine. Only my center dash has it though. The rest is black. If anyone wants to swap their same style wood gauge bezel and shifter bezel for my black ones. I might be interested.

It's NOT FAKE!!!! At least in '99, there is real wood under there, and it's almost 1mm thick. I successfully delaminated all mine (and I have a 5-speed), sanded it down to wood, then restained and polyurethaned it with MinWax products. Looks far better that what the dealer put in in 1999. Based on my experience with a 1985 BMW 735 (e23), I'll need to touch up the polyU every two or three years.

I concluded it wasn't worth it for me. Thanks for the feedback, not too big of a deal. Deathcougar is close enough for me to drive and get stuff occasionally. Wanted to see what my variables were/weren't before making the trip up there this coming week.

I have factory matched wood kits for 96-98's and 99-02 Limited models. Have one in mine:

The bad news is there never was any wood trim for the 5-speed shifter console (see pic at link), so I doubt you (OP) will ever find one.

I have it, and can do it in wood, real carbon, any finish.

They also make vinyl wrap in just about every conceivable wood grain style/shade. You can wrap your stock trim and get a pretty solid look.
