Limited without 3rd row?

Is it possible to get a limited in Nor California with no 3rd row? Online builder and search of dealer inventories don't make it look possible. If that's the case, Toyota is missing out on a market that doesn't haul 6 kids around but still wants luxury in an off road vehicle.

I bought my le in Reno (close enough) without a third row.

A side note: the sales people were as friendly and straightforward as you could want. Picked me up at the airport and drove me to the dealership.

No.

I tried to buy a limited with either the sliding tray or nothing at all here in the bay area back in 2014. I also did not want automatic running powered boards.

It was impossible to find a limited without the 3rd row. That is how the Northern California Toyota distributor specs 4runners.

I found 1 4runner limited usibg the toyota.com site without the auotmatic running boards and the dealer needed to do a trade 130 miles away to get it.

The only models in the NorCal region available without 3rd row are Trails. It's utter idiocy.

I ended up getting my SR5P w/o 3rd Row in Reno (Dolan Toyota) via the Costco purchasing program. Good transaction and worth the drive to Tahoe.

If you're looking to buy new, why couldn't they order or locate and transfer one in for you?

I went to 5 different dealers in the area. None wanted to do a custom order for me.

To transfer one from Oregon (which is the closest for sliding tray or no 3rd row, I'm in San Jose) would have costed me as much as just having the 3rd row.

I also got Fleet pricing through work and it beat the TRuecar.com price

I have a limited without third row. I did have to wait 6 weeks for it though. Try emailing a few dealerships the model and options you'd like and see what they say.

I had the opposite problem here in SoCal where I wanted a ltd with the third row. I think I have used it all of five times..

I had the opposite problem. I was in Norcal Last winter wanting a limited with the 3rd row. There were several without. I too ended up at Dolan in Reno and they did a good job. Got me below invoice pricing.

If you get a 4runner with a 3rd row, don't forget to buy this:

http://www.amazon.com/3D-MAXpider-C...r=8-1-spell&keywords=4runner+3rd+row+floormat

It fits decent. It is not as nice as Weathertech or Husky. But neither make one for the 3rd row. Rumor is that the Lexus GX460 3rd row mat fits. But no one has posted a pic to confirm. So I went with the Amazon one.
