LiPo battery jumper box?

Guys,
I'm looking at a picking up a LiPo battery jumper box deal thing... for a trip to Montana this weekend. I've had the old lead acid style jumpers before and they work but they are heavy and take up a lot of room. (When you're hauling a kiddo and a wife and all her crap... stuff.)
I'd like to have some real world experience with the newer LiPo chargers/jumpers. How long do they last? Any issue with storage? Worth the cost? Thoughts?

they are hit or a miss, so stick to a reputable brand.

I have a noco genius that works like a champ. i keep it plugged into the rear cigarette lighter at all times, and stuffed in a nook or cranny or under the seat, stored in a NOCO case. Never know its there, until i need it.

Built in flashlight has also come in handy on more than one occasion too to work on the vehicle at night. I've also used it to charge dead electronics (phones, and laptops) more than I have needed to jump someone.

For some reason, I still carry a old school jumper cable...not sure why, mainly out of redundancy.

I agree, I forgot about mine because it's stuffed in the cubby behind the rear seats. After over a year I pulled it out to see if it needed to be recharged. IT still had 4 bars. I went ahead and used it to charge a few phones and charge it back to full.

NOCO is the best. GB40 is plenty of juice for just about anything with 4 wheels, unless your battery is REALLY smoked. Helped plenty of people out of jams with mine.

4-stroke snowmobile guys often carry a compact booster pack (no pull cord), and Anti Gravity seems to be a commonly used brand. They'll be dealing with a lot of vibration and cold in that application.

I have a NOCO GB40 and really like it. Was in my rig for well over a year without charging it and just jumped someone the other day with it.

I also keep a set of jumper cables in there too just in case because I don't think it will jump a super dead battery.

Good tip on buying a quality one! I bought a cheap one and it worked... once. Some things you just cant get away with lol. I still prefer jumper cables but then again, theres not always going to be another car around
