Liquid Sound Under Dasboard

Hello,
I have a 97 4runner with 245000 miles. When I drive and accelerate with gas, it sounds like water or a liquid is swooshing under the dashboard. Not sure what this is related to. I had the coolant flushed several times and a tune up recently. The sound stopped but came back a week later. Any clues?

Could be an air pocket in your cooling system or your heater core may be partially plugged.

It's a good bet that there is an air pocket in the heater core as a result of your recent cooling system flushes. A good "burping" should get rid of it.

make sure the heater case drain is not plugged as well. water can form inside.

This was just brought up not too long ago.. It's water in the heater core.
