Snorkel day! Fairly terrifying to start. That initial use of the auto center punch felt so wrong. Which was topped once i started drilling. After that the big hole was a piece of cake.

Amazing build. Not boring at all. Subtle understated with the right choice of mods. Now you need a diff breather for those water crossings.
Love your build. Excellent choices!
Still happy with the SSS bumper/winch combo? Been itching to pull the trigger for some time on the same set up. Any particular pros/cons of note?
Again - awesome work!
Nice...Im looking at getting the same size tires![]()
Great thread and great looking upgrades. You must be single! LOL
Think *hard* about making the plunge to 285sI'll likely step up when it's time for replacement. But, I can't complain at all about the 275s.
Have the 275s treated you well? And what has led to you leaning towards 285s?
Well, I just take the truck for what it is. There are some threshold speeds where it can go either way in gear selection, but I've taken a non-aerodynamic brick and strapped crap to it, so I just accept it as it is. The 275s have been fine for me, I put them on basically immediately so I really don't even know the the vehicle on stock sized street tires. But if you're doing 275 K02s, you're already making most of the weight jump to 285s, and 285s are just a hair[/b] subtly better when lifted and built up. I'd do 285s if I was doing it again, but I've got no reason to replace my 275s early -- unless you're looking to buy them![]()
Man, that’s the perfect build! Nice job, truck looks incredible
