List of Codes

Well. I went and got a nice big list of codes, and possible solutions... What do you think?

Wheel Speed Sensors- inspect, clean, re-wire if necessary or ZPC
C0200
C0205
C0210
C0215

ABS- should be solved after wheel speed sensors are fixed
C0278

ECS- Should be cleared after ABS/wheel speed sensors and 0420 is fixed
C1201
C1223

Infamous- replace or do the $5 mod
P0420

I have until JAN 31 to have these codes fixed. FML.

Upon inspection of the wheel speed sensors (disconnected the battery before playing with the plugs) my front passenger wiring had one wire that was badly corroded and had basically been rubbed nearly in half by the CV shaft/boot. Wire has been repaired and relocated. Zero-point calibration has been performed as well. Soon as I get the chance to have codes run again, I'll post an update.

As for the P0420 code, I'll be replacing both downstream 02 sensors- RockAuto has them for pretty cheap, and honestly I just need them for passing emissions this next month.

Would it be worth purchasing the "CEL fixer extenders" as well?

Just went on a long drive. Speeds from 30 to 75 mph on local roads and highways. Engine at operating temp and some interesting things happened that I noticed. She hit 210,000 and no CEL has come on.

1. Acceleration is much quieter and smoother, there's no lull then pick up, it seems more linear.
2. Idle is smoother
3. When I let off the throttle after hard acceleration, there's way less crackle in my exhaust (I have removed a cat, replaced the exhaust with Magnaflow, and have no resonator)
4. My MPG after driving slow, sitting at stop lights, and on the highway for a number of miles has seemed to settle at 15.9 (before it was 11.8, even after my last computer reset and test drive before replacing the o2 sensors)
5. The vibrations on acceleration and at cruising speed have calmed down. Before the exhaust would drop to a deep note and shake make the interior rattle.
6. When starting the vehicle, the RPM doesn't jump up and sound like a rev. Plus it fires up more quickly then before it seems.

Could all of the changes I have experienced be opinionated, argued, and debunked? Perhaps, but it's what I've noticed after driving this morning before the work and after completing the work. Then again, I also just completed my overnight rotation and I'm pooped lol.
