Little help would be greatly appreciated.

For the record, there’s not even half a leaf on the shade tree that I wrench under, which leads me to this question. Got t-boned on my rear wheel several weeks ago, leading to insurance paying for the replacement of a bent rear axle, among other things. Got the rig back 4 days ago, driving with no issues, until today, when all of a sudden my ATRAC/ABS locks up on a corner turn and I’m dead in traffic for a few seconds, then able to drive but with a a weird clank coming from every rotation of the rear wheel. Got to safety, checked the wheel, thought maybe I’d jack it up and take a look behind it, but it turns out the shop used my lug key and didn’t put it back (I’m an ass for not checking, I know). Then I find this hanging loose behind the wheel, and I can’t figure out what it is/where it goes. Tried search functions to no avail, most likely because no one else is as ignorant as I am about simple mechanics.
Can anyone tell me what the f*#k I’m looking at? Right rear wheel. Thanks in advance for advice and/or molotov cocktails.

Its a hydraulic line from the XREAS system that you had, it was connected to your OEM shock. It'll probably be fine if you leave it, but you could also remove what's left of the XREAS system to get it off your truck.

Dude, thank you so much. The Icon was put in before I got the rig, so I had no idea. I really appreciate it.

Yep. I'll second that. Those hoses aren't a problem - I drove around for maybe 75,000 miles with them disconnected and zip tied out of the way after I got my first lift. I finally just cut the whole system out when I put on my new shocks and springs.
But that still wouldn't explain the issue you just had.

Rear wheel click/clank/rattle solved

Problem solved: I'll drop this in here to add to the near-endless list of click/rattle/clunk threads.

Turns out the click and rattle I was hearing came from two separate sources:
1. The mech who replaced the rear axle left a bolt loose on the sway bar bracket, which then worked itself most of the way out, resulting in the click/clank I was getting. Replaced the rusted bolt with new, tightened down, and that sound was resolved, BUT...
2. Still had a weird/sick intermittent rattle in my rear wheel with rotation. Took it apart and found that one of the struts on the e-brake mechanism had popped a spring loose and was now rattling around in my wheel. Fixed it, now it runs quiet as ever.

As always, thanks to all the members of this community who take the time to give feedback and advice.
I'll see about stripping out the rest of XREAS soon.

Once the shocks are gone it's pretty simple. I'm guessing they already pulled the "accumulator" or whatever those cans are along the frame rails? If not, there can't be any pressure left in them if they had the lines dangling like you showed.

Removal is just a bunch of 12mm (or maybe they were 10) bolts and little plastic clips holding the lines. They cross under the front along one of the crossmembers. The rest you can do without even getting under the truck.

Good luck.....
