Little pin point orange rust spots all over door panels

I'm hoping this is an easy fix and doesn't require doing a full on paint job.

I think its from running high offset tires all winter and kicking up salt all over the body constantly. Theres also some bigger spots (pinky nail sized) up near the windows were the paint is starting to flak, I'll post pictures but I'll need some help dealing with those too.

Feeling like an idiot for kicking salt all over the place all winter...


and its a 97 if that makes any difference.

It's known as rail dust. And it will come off with A LOT of elbow grease and a detailing clay bar. After you clay bar it, it's best to have the vehicle buffed and waxed to protect the paint from further damage. I look my silver 4runner over every year to keep the paint looking nice.
