I believe the D after the R16 is the identifier. I always get so confused because you can find one that's D load but has a different speed rating or treadwear etc. I guess it's good to have all those options.

Yeah a 265 is close to 1.5" taller. Check this link out Tire Size Calculator - tire & wheel plus sizing

That is strange, cause 245's seem an odd size, you dont see them often.

but I can get a set for $200 with only 4k on them. and might get them to just run them till I can get what I want later down the road.

but 1.5 is quit a bit when your going down adn not UP .lol

Yeah my girlfriend has 245's on her Jeep GC and my stock 95 wuth 31's sits much higher. They don't look bad, but I wouldn't run them if you are going to lift at all or have flares.

By the way- Nitto Terra Grapplers are on backstock. Discount doesn't know how long they'll be that way but they told me it's been a while since they've had them. I wouldn't place the order if you need the soon... Could be a long time they told me!! That's why I decided against them and got other tires

FYI. Kelly safari tsr's from onlinetires are 644 delivered (to me). I've read some not so positive things about onlinetires so maybe take a chance or find someone to match. Good luck

well i definitely stretched the budget but i just sucked it up and called them and told them to switch me to duratracs. sigh. 785 shipped with the warranty :sobbing:
