Lock/Unlock Interior Light

I have an 07 V8 4X4. The interior window buttons and the lock/unlock button are not illuminated and hard to find at night. Is there a secret to lighting them up or will they not illuminate. Nothing in the owners manual either way. Thanks

I've done searches and can't find the answer. So I'm assuming they don't illuminate.

I have an 06 v8 sport and mine dont light up either. That was the first q i had when i bought mine too

EDIT: Actually i just ran out and checked mine and i have "AUTO" lit up in orange on mine. nothing else though.

Yeah mine's the same way unfortunately. I was just needing to find the unlock the other night when I dropped the wife at the grocery store. It sucks fumbling around in the dark. I was thinking about taking the door off and seeing if there was any way to illuminate it. If anyone else has already done it or tried it I'd love to hear about it.

Muscle memory will take over once you own the truck a few weeks. I can honestly say I never noticed it wasn't illuminated until I read it on this forum, since I don't need to look at the switches.

some where on this forum theres a thread on installing a light in door handle that lights up the whole panel, it works for me.

It looks like it solves the problem of not being able to see but I'd really prefer the switches to be backlit somehow. Maybe someday I'll take the door panel off to see how hard it would be.
