Locked my keys in a 1990 4runner

Long story short, it sucked. I finally got it open using this home made device I came up with after watching this video. I hope this helps someone out in the future.

just needed a buddies toyota key and it probably would have opened it lol

this is why i have done counter measures to make sure this doesnt happen

if you leave em in the ignition the door unlocks on it's own lol.

hindsight is 20/20, as they say. I will be hiding a key on my truck soon. I tried using a slimjim and eventually had to give up. I thought about using wedges, but I saw this video before I had a chance and, needless to say, I didn't need to use wedges.

I wish I had some buddies around here with 4runners!

Since I swapped the doors, I don't even have a key to the doors. Then again, I run 2/3 of the year with tube doors.

Because if it were a first gen, I'd just use my key. Or a dull blade. Or a shoelace....
