How much money are you looking to spend? If it's no object, ARB air lockers. If it is, spool in the rear, Aussie in the front.

ARB is hands down the best, but when you see the price your gunna piss your self. just remember, you get what you pay for.

I'd either look into the Toyota E-Lockers or ARB Air Locker. Both systems have their Pro's & Con's.

E-Locker
#1: Even if you loose power to your lockers you can still switch In & Out of the "Locked" Position manually. The ARB cannot be locked/unlocked manually if the Diff loses its Air source fails.
#2 ARB Air Lockers require constant air pressure to keep them locked as well as a source of air (compressor). The E-Lockers do not obviously, as it is Locked with electricity and stays that way until it is unlocked.

ARB AirLockers
#1 Air Lockers can be Locked and Unlocked "Immediately", unlike the E-Locker.
#2 The ARB compressor or other Compressors used to provide air to your Lockers can also be used as a secondary Air source to run Air Tools, Refill tires, ect. However some ARB compressor users have unfortunately had their compressors burn up (now that could because the compressor is not rated to be used to fill tires and run the lockers).

I like the E-Lockers due to the fact of the simplicity of being able to Lock or Unlock manually even if my wiring was torn from the Diffs. Lets not forget the $$$$ issue, ARB is going to cost over $800 & E-lockers anywhere from $250-$500.

Good Luck in your search for getting Lockers

Do some research. Check out Detroit, Richmond Gear, Power Trax, Aussie and see what fits your needs and wallet.

It all depends on your rig and what you will be using it for. ARB Airlockers & Toyota E-Lockers are "Selectable Lockers" which means you can remain unlocked during normal driving on the street & can lock the Diffs when you need the extra traction. Aussie, Detroit, Richmond are all 100% systems as they are Locked all the time.

For a Daily Driver/Weekend Warrior I'd personally go with a Selectable Locker since you would be doing mostly City/Highway driving. If your going the opposite direction and making it a complete trail rig, go with the Aussie, Detroit, or Richmond.

if i go with the ones that are locked all the time then what would that make my ride quality like?? right now shes my daily driver but im planing on getting a mr2 or a turboed talon as a daily driver.

With the Non-Selectable lockers you will hear the Occasional "BAAANG" which sounds like your Diff cracked/exploded when driving and turning. Your Turning Radius will suffer since you will not have an "Open Diff" which allows one wheel to turn faster than the other which is where you get your Stock tight turning radius. You won't be able to perform a U-turn very fast, and will know what it means to perform more than your fair share of 3point+ turns. However some Locker owners that own Aussie's have said they don't hear them at speeds over 20MPH.

Selectable Lockers will allow you to use an Open-Diff while on the Road and use your rig just as you do now. Non-Selectable Lockers are locked 100% of the time as stated before and take a little time to get used to but once you do, you should be GTG.

OPEN DIFF/SELECTABLE LOCKER= Stock Driving Experience until you Lock your Diff(s).
100% LOCKERS= Locked All The Time, Normal City/Hwy Driving comfort will suffer but you will have the ability to go anywhere anytime, w/o having to lock your diffs via a switch.
