locking lug nuts

i know this has been covered several times, but i wanted to put it out there to all the 2nd gen guys. here's what i wrote over in the 3rd gen thread.

"my mechanic tried to get my wheels off this past week with no luck. he used a torch and everything he thought possible short of breaking the lugs themselves. any other suggestions? does a dealer have some special method besides what has already been done? the key my mech used is torn up pretty well and may need replaced. lame!"

any help is much appreciated.

I have a friend who's husband is a very good professional mechanic, and while helping me with my suspension, we ran into the same problem. My locking lugs were round on the outside, and he took a socket that was just too small to slide over the outside of the lug, hammered it on and went at it with an air wrench. Worked like a charm.
