Where did you pull the signal wire from? Did this in my Tacoma and had to pull the ground from inside the window pillar.

Plug and play. It's a one piece. Remove the old and replace with the new one.

I see the product on amazon searching for “Toyota logo puddle lights”. They are surprisingly cheap.
But I’ve got to say, I’m surprised by your photo that they work that well!
Not my cup of tea, but pretty cool nonetheless

Many times I have gotten out of a car at night and wondered what make it was.

I will wonder no more after this one easy trick the dealers don't want you to know about.

i had these on my VW and thought it was cool.

I'm not sure I like the toyota logo as much but i believe there was a little slot to put in whatever you like to display on the ground.

Now if there was one that would display a stormtrooper helmet on the ground to go with my white truck and I'll gladly send my money!

Not the biggest fan of the logo. I think just a real bright light would nice.

I upgraded the ones in my door to LED, but they don't really do all that much.
