Yep. Time to upgrade the ol FJ. It has been great, absolutely no issues besides the tiny suicide doors. Didn't have the cash at the time to get the 4R I wanted so got the FJ. I have been on nearly all the trails in CO that don't require a winch with it and I hope a 4R can do the same. I am a few/six months out before I can purchase but might as well get the list of questions completed.
Question: I like the toytec lift but it is pretty stiff for non 4x4 driving. The FJ is and the future 4R will be my everyday driving choice. I am considering no lift or OME 3" 884s. Any information on the before/after suspension feel with an OME lift would be awesome. Trail performance may override work trips but mid February every year I wonder how nice that stock suspension would be since I can't trail for a few more months. Hence the no lift option.
