So I was trollin the clasiffieds looking for a runner for my buddy and I see this ad. Look familiar [MENTION=63060]rickashay[/MENTION] ?

At first I saw the runner and I'm like, holy shit! Whoever bought rickashay's runner is selling it! I was about to go buy it cash in hand.... Then I realized its a cover photo. Just a nice laugh.

I want to build myself a different set of headlights and would be willing to sell mine to a fellow Packers fan! I'd let them go for the cost of the retrofit parts plus you're clear headlights from your 4runner. pics and specs are in my build thread but they are fx-r 55 watts like rickashays I'd even be willing to change out or paint the Shroud to the way you like!

Haha, yeah I know he does. I can't afford projectors right now anyway. Need to do some rust-remediation and get new tires before April. Thanks for the offers though!

No FX-R's for me man! And I dont rock 55w ballasts, that extra juice can cause a lot of long term problems with retrofits.

I'm headed to Moab this spring, but wont be there until May 7th. The oil biz is too crazy in March still for me to try and escape for then for when you guys all meet. I'd love to come and meet a bunch of the T4R guys but the timing just isnt right. That being said, if anyone can go in May I'd love to meet up. I'll be in Moab for 4-5 days then Death Valley for 4-5 days then headed up to NorCal and back home.

I would love to go with whoever whenever. I have never been so it will be a first for me and most likely my rigs maiden voyage! If we can get enough people, it'd be dope to do it!
 
Addison was using a LS460 bixenon far superior than any FX-R junk. and 55watt ballast only create problems down the road they burn refector bowls pretty bad. he is one of the few known to run this projector on a 3rd gen.... :cool: Hi Addison.:hello:

^this guys knows his stuff. hahaha LS460's FTW.

I was originally going to run LS460-R's on my Lexus, but the headlights are simply to small to accomodate even the trimmed down LS460. Going to be rocking TL's with the Mini H1 solenoid conversion and a tuned beam. Also going to buck up for some Osram CBI bulbs this time around!

Haha good choice bud! That is the 2nd projector I would pick if I couldn't run the LS460s. Have you run the CBI's before Addison? I personally think they are to blue for my tastes and don't think they would work well in bad weather conditions. Let me know how they pan out for you. Also I forgot to ask did you ever have any issues with your xb LEDs? My power supply's keep going bad. I'm on my 3rd set.

THAT will be a great trip!! I've been to Moab, Death Valley (several times-- unfortunately not wheeling) and Nor Cal lots, and hopefully, it won't be too hot. Love Utah--- lots to see!! Take lots of pics, as I'm sure we'll all love to live vicariously through your posts!!!

Yah I am slightly worried about the 5000K as I really do like 4300K. Who knows still might change my mind on the bulbs. Never had any problems with my halos but I only had them wired as turn signals so they were not on very often.... yours probably get WAY more hours.
