Looking at a 05 sr5 with v8 4x4. What to look for?

Hi guys I used to hang out in the 3rd gen area with my 99 highlander which I sold earlier this year. I had 4 of them so I knew what to look for. Now I going newer with a v8. Other than timing belt and h2o pump. Are there any common problems on a an 05 to look for.

Seized brake calipers. Hard to tell 100% by just casual test drive but it'll make some noise. You'll have to search that one. Also look at the cv boot. Know to leak and need replacing. V8s also known to have cracked manifold.

They are solid, not much to worry about. My 04 has 172+k miles, no cracked manifolds, or seized calipers, XREAS isnt even leaking(some people mention these problems). Mainly do the standard checks you would do when buying a used car, dont forget to check for any rust and check body panels for VIN stickers.

What are vin sticker

Every body panel has a sticker on it from the factory w/the VIN number on it. If there are any missing there may have been extensive body work and you may want to take a closer look into what happened.
