A forum member named "Bad_Vison" needs an opinion and second look? ;) :D

I'll see what's what and reply in a bit, gotta use personal time instead of work time.

Concerns would be rust, engine and condition of plastic and rubber parts as well as how bad the fiberglass is and ultimately parts availability. Corey at ToyotaFiberglass is a good source, also check there's a Toyota Camper forum. Forget the name of it right now.

For an asking price of $600 I'd buy it for the cool factor, offer $400. Just be prepared to spend $$$ to complete your vision. Nice camper once upon a time. Don't Crush them Restore them...:thumb3:

There is a guy in The Dalles Oregon that converts these to 4wheel drive, paints them up and goes through them. Not sure how much he sells them for.

my uncle got one of those when i was like 15. he payed 8 grand but everything was brand new, motor all rebuilt (22re) with the solid axle and a 5 speed, 34x10.5's, 5.29's.... i think there was an IFS rear end on it to. it was the 79-83 body style. man that thing was cool. then some drunk jack ass t boned him at a stop light.

id grab that sucker while you can, they are getting harder and harder to find.
