looking for a new EDC pocket knife

I lost my knife a couple months ago and ive finally figured out how much i actually used it.

here is the old knife i had with the combo edge. i liked it but it was a little small for my hand and i somehow got the blade to corrode a little.

Ive been looking around, went the knife store at the local mall, played with my roommates and friends knives. Ive narrowed it down to 2.

#1- CRKT M16-13ZLEK (Combo edge)

#2- Benchmade Griptilian 551s (Combo Edge)

Right now Im leaning more toward the Benchmade becuase i really liked how it feels in my hand, fits well. the CRKT is also really nice doesnt fit as well. I know Benchmade is a better knife what what would you guys get? Also what are the pros and cons of the Tanto Vs Std blade?

I wouldn't go with those brands. I've heard bad about both. I'd go Buck.
Super high quality and they will replace it anytime anything goes wrong.

Both crkt and bench made are great companies. I think you pay for the name a little on the bench made, though.

I did some research for the last edc I bought, and got an SOG trident. I really like it. Great edge and feel awesome in me hand. It's got a fairly large handle, but i like that better than a little one.

I didn't have the time or opportunity to handle anything when I bought mine, so you have a leg up there.

Plus, I didn't want to spend $100 bucks on a pocket knife...

Im really leaning toward the 551s, the bench i can get for 70 and the crkt i can get for 60.

I really like my Benchmade Mini Griptilian 556SBK...well made and carry everyday.

A Mini Grip is my CA knife when traveling. Full Grip anywhere else.
