Looking for a place for Bluetooth Microphone

i moved mine from my steering column to my upper oh shit handle mount. Looks great to me, works even better. To me you cant even tell there used to be something there. Im sure some wont like it.

Disregard to garage mess, started new business and the garage is the warehouse for the time being.

Its more flush mount than it appears.

I put mine in the top portion of the drivers side vent. No wind noise, no echo, and completely out of sight unless you are looking for it.

Carved out a little notch and placed mine on the empty plug right next to the rheostat.

OEM mic location???

Hey guys, sorry for being a PITA but could anyone with OEM bluetooth take a pic of the mic location inside the sunglass compartment. I am assuming that callers on the other end are able to hear well with the mic in this location. I am installing an after market bluetooth kit and am thinking of possibly install the mic in the same location as the factory mount. Would this be possible? If anyone could take a pic that would be awesome. Thanks in advance!

I know this is an old thread, but I used it to decide where to put the mic and wanted to give back. I drilled a hole in the plastic plate between the map lights for the mic holder and a notch in the front of the plate for the wire. It is a permanent modification, but if I ever want to pull the mic out I can just replace the plastic plate.
