Looking for a used 4 runner, help

I am looking for a 4 runner. I am currently looking at a 2000 limited. What should I be looking for, where are the problems, rust locations, any other info would help.

Depending on the miles you should look at the timing belt.

It has 126K and the belt has not been replaced yet. How much should I factor for replacement? How hard is it to do yourself?

15,000-16,000 miles a year is a good bit.

I'm really not sure, but I think if you have a shop do the belt it's like $900ish.

You will save a lot by doing it yourself. You might want to look at the water pump too.
