I have a 2008 SR5 that is starting to exhibit quite a bit of rust underneath. The rust still appears to be surface rust (from what I can tell) and has not penetrated through (yet). Since I live in the Northeast snowbelt (NH), I'm looking to at least stop the rust or possibly prevent any new rust from forming or getting worse. There is a place in Concord NH that does oil based undercoating (https://nhoilundercoating.com/). Has anyone done this to their 4runner (or other vehicle) and if so, how has it worked out? Are there other (possibly better) options? I'm looking to so this ASAP as winter is fast approaching. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,
Dave.
