Looking for advice

First time posting here, just looking for some advice on some mods for my 1999 SR5. I have decided that I want to do a few (aesthetic) things to the exterior of my car over the summer and wanted to bounce a few ideas off of some more experienced people in the community. Everything on the exterior of my car is stock besides a small lift put on by the previous owner (less than 2") and slightly larger than average tires.

The first few things I have thought about adding are:

1) Painting the 4Runner, SR5, and Toyota logos on the of my car black
2) Putting in some sort of darker tail light similar to the one in the link below:
PartsTrain.com - Hard to Find Auto Parts and Truck Parts -
3) Adding a roof basket similar to the link below:

As of now I have no preference in brand for any parts I add on. Any feedback on how you think it will look or any advice on things I should consider would be greatly appreciated.

3) Rola vortex or Yakima Loadwarrior are the best and most popular.

1 and 2 are easy and cheap. You can paint the taillights to tint them. Probably better and cheaper than replacing them.

As far as the rack, they're nice but if it's for looks, don't do it. Pricey and will hurt your fuel mileage.

Price wise you can do a lot better on those Spyder tail lights. Mine were very similar and around $80 per pair.
