looking for advise

I found a 01 limited 4x4 for sale with 113,750 miles. its listed at 5350. im thinking its a good price. any opinions?

Condition? Clean Title? Carfax? Maint history?

If everything checks out I would say thats a good deal. In my area they go for at least that with alot more miles.

I agree with the above.
Also check for serious rust, depending on where it is located or originaly from.

Also look in the radiator & overflow tank for an oily residue. It may have had the pink milkshake of death ( look it up if you don't know what it is ) and it may need a new radiator & transmission.

The cars a one owner and he lives out in Sun City so rust shouldn't be an issue hopefully. He has his maintenance records so I'll look at those when I drive out there soon. As far as the radiator goes, after reading the thread on Toyotech.com I plan on changing the radiator regardless just because it scares the living crap outta me.

^agree with the above. check everything first. records, carfax, rust ..etc..

if its ok with some minor issues then thats a great deal. if you got the cash in hand for it..maybe you can get it at a cheaper price also.

That price is low enough to scare me a bit, but that's just me. The KBB on it is way higher than that even in rough condition.

Good reason to be cautious. Too good to be true? I have seen too many too be good to be true deals out there lately. Be patient and the right one will find you.
