Well, after almost 1.5 years of parts sitting in my garage, a mislabeled front dif (yeah, I really wanted to buy two of those...) I finally finished up my 4wd conversion and am happy to say that it works great. Just a few items left to wrap up as I built a hybrid setup with a J shift TC and motorized ADD front. In hindsight I probably should have just added the vac actuator, but I wanted to motor.
I have it working no, BUT a year ago when I rebuilt the diff and actuator I SOMEHOW lost the small two prong contact that triggers the ADD single/limits.
Does anyone have a bad motorized ADD you could pull one of these from? It would save my day and a few hours in the dirt at the pick N pull. The only good news is that I think this came on gen 1 tacos, tundras and Sequoia trucks.
