Hey guys! So I’ve been chasing forums and have no luck, mostly find information for 4th gen’s
Few questions regarding the topic
Can I access the mode door actuator from passenger footwell? (Without removing the dash)
And is this the correct part number? (Toyota dealership gave me this number, however Google said ir was incorrect for the 1998 limited
I want to fix the issue so I have a working defroster by winter time (vent only blows from dash can’t change to defroster)
And speed only works on high (blower motor resistor)
Has anybody in here with a 3rd gen 1998, did the replacement? How long did each part take or one of them take,
Part numbers Toyota gave me for each part are as follows
Mode Door Actuator
87106-35070
Blower Motor Resistor
87138-35050
Any information would be super helpful I don’t trust myself enough to remove dash so I’m hoping don’t have to, but I need my defroster the fact fans only work on high I don’t care about mainly defroster issue but was gonna fix both since I was down there messing with one
