Looking for pics of single din radio installed

Guys - Search yielded few pictures of single din stereos. I am thinking about going to a single din with the pocket underneath. Anyone have pics and suggestions?

I am looking for a basic unit that allows calling via bluetooth (includes mic) and allows me to play music from my iphone without cables and other crap. I am not an audiophile and my truck isn't exactly quiet. Just want something decent at a low price.

Here's my set up. Love the pocket underneath for CDs or other random stuff.

**Edit: It's a Scosche adapter. Can't remember the part number but it's a perfect fit.

This was exactly how I felt, now I wish I had manned up and got a double din for back up cams, watching movies, etc. Maybe in the Spring :spy:
Alpine CDE 133BT - I think they have since updated it and come out with a new version, maybe the 135 BT. Does everything you wanted.

Matt the more I look at it, the more I think we put my polarizing film on backwards :doh:

Could very well be the case. Plus the adhesive was pretty dried out after sitting round for a few years. Some newer film would probably sort it out.

Here's mine. Bluetooth works great. Ipod works great! (unit bypasses Ipod's DAC and also displays song info and also the steering wheel controls skip songs and such). I use the pocket to store the ends of two USB cords coming off the back of the Pioneer receiver and also the Ipod. One USB is for the Ipod and the other I use to charge my phone which is usually in the holder next to the receiver

ehhh. I may try and squeeze a CB under there. I dont use it often TBH. I use BT all the time, wirelessly play music, have the mic mounted in the headliner.

I don't even know if this Sony head unit I have is still available, but I got it on Amazon for right around $200 about three or four years ago. It's got Bluetooth, Sirius, a credit card-style remote, and it plays discs, although I've never used it for that.

nah, mine was the amazon special. It has a wider pocket than the Scosche - though I may buy one of those and hack it up for a CB

Awdjunkies - is your radio recessed? In the pictures it looks like your pocket below the radio is larger, but the face is recessed.

The radio is recessed, Around the edges it seems like it sticks out a very tiny bit but not so much where it's noticeable... and yes.. The pocket below is larger than any of the ones the other members posted. Ill get a pic of the dash cover right now as well..

I bet you could get a slim cb radio to fit in there.

I've been thinking of going to a single DIN radio for a while in order to squeeze a cb radio underneith.
