Looking for recommendations/ideas on center console for tacobox install

I just picked up a 3rd gen Limited with a crawl box installed and a 5 speed conversion (from a 1st gen taco). I'm trying to figure out how to improve on the POs center console install. Everything works great (from a functional standpoint), I just want to clean up the install a bit. PO said he was looking at late model 3rd gen (2000-2002) center consoles and thought they might work better...

Anyone else with this setup and have pics and/or ideas of what you have or plan to do?

I used a remote/triple stick kit and all the sticks come out in the same place. This is part of the NWF eco-crawler doulber.

I got little shift boots from a PnP junkyard (IIRC they came out of bench seat Impalas?), removed the single transfer case part of the boot, and hand sewed in the 3 new boots.
