Looking for some thoughts

New outer tie rods installed today, alignment tomorrow. I noticed my inner tie rods are pretty floppy, no play no matter how hard I pushed and pulled and no play with the wheel on. I'll keep an eye on them. I also checked the tightness of the sway bar fix link, upper. It was fine.

I'll test drive tonight.

So far so good. Alignment done and it feels great. I've got Dobinsons UCAs and they said they could only get 2.7 and 2.8 caster... The UCAs have 3 built in. Maybe I'm missing something expecting at least that 3 degrees.

No pops yet, at all. Skid plates are still off though, but going back on soon.

I did notice that my sway bar links weren't where they were supposed to be on the sway bar so I loosened everything and reset it all. The driver side end of the link was sticking out of the bushing way more than passenger side. A couple of days later it seems to be creeping back to being off. The passenger link seems slightly tilted outwards and it seems to be pushing the driver side kdss piston outward too.

I too have the Dobison UCA and have had a popping sound ever since the install but I know my torque on the long bolt isn't to spec as I couldn't get my wrench on it good enough.

What's more interesting is my alignment shop told me the same thing about only getting 3 degrees of castor when 3 are built in. I didn't have the info and knowledge to dispute at the time, so instead I've ruined my tires and lived with the rubbing.
