Looking for "V8" BADGE TO PUT ON REAR

iForce V8 Badge

I just ordered an iForce V8 badge from a Sequoia and a V8 badge from a LandCruiser. My plan is to remove the V8 part of the Sequoia badge since the font is different than the 4Runner. The LandCrusier is the same as the 4Runner. I will post pictures once the hybrid is complete.

Anyone else tried this? It's going to cost about 42 bucks and some time with the Dremel.

THis is what I have on order.

The V8 badge off the Lexus GX/LX line. Pretty similar lettering/font as our t4rs and its not slanted.

Yeah, dumbshits ask me that all the time and mine is just debadged. The SURF on the rear bumper guard throws a lot of people too. They are like "How'd you do that?" They think I picked what I wanted to say, because I love the ocean. I highly recommend that Brushed Aluminum Bumper Guard BTW........evertime I look at it I am so glad I got it. It looks especially good with the Warn Shackle Hitch Receiver. Damn......I'm straying a bit off subject again, sorry.

I just ordered this brushed aluminum bumper guard. Was it easy to install? Just a few 10mm nuts to loosen?

Yes, easy to install. No bolts, just magically sticky 3M tape. That sucker is on there really tight! I'm a little surprised you ordered it. You having a chrome phobia and all. No, actually this piece seems like something that just about everyone would like. There are more details of the simple install in my 4ROTM thread linked in my sig.

Yes, a definite chrome phobia, but with my '03, I have brushed aluminum accents (roof rack, door handles, rear license vanity), I thought it might look sharp.

I have already dropped cement garden pavers on the bumper, so this will cover the little scratches that were put there by the butter fingers.

I created this badge with a combination of a Sequoia badge (I took the iForce part) and the V8 badge from a Landcruiser. I am happy with how it turned out. About $42 for both badges (less discount from dealer).
