Looking to buy 94 3.0 4runner hg and wAter pump

I'm looking at a 94 4runner with the 3.0 and 5speed. It is overheating. I'm guessing hg or water pump. When replacing the hg I was wondering how hard the timing would be to do. That's my only concern. I built my turbod eclipse so I'm half decent with mechanics.

The 3.0 is infamous for blown HG's. Replacing the timing belt (if that's what you mean) at the time would be easy, it's all a part.
