No idea about longevity/durability.

i was gonna plumb a quick release and a 2-5 gal tank. as well as hard wiring.

The twin piston keeps heat down compared to single piston. There are several tests by some members here that reflect inflation numbers too. Very competitive compared to other similar brands.

We have customers who use this ac for filling tanks very effectively.

I hardwired mine in my 04.
