Loose rear bumper!

Hey everyone! I have a new to me 2007 V8 Limited. The rear bumper on the driver side has a gap to it. It's missing a few clips. See below for some pictures. My question is which clips does this need? These?: https://www.amazon.com/PartsSquare-Fastener-Retainer-4Runner-Highlander/dp/B018Q1VDG4

Second, does anyone have a video or instructions on how to add these clips? I'm guessing I'd need to remove the whole bumper?

Mine is the same way. It looks to me that the clips on p/n 5256335010 & 5256235010 have broken off or lost their grab tension. Each side has a different P/N.

You can see the piece above about 2:07 in on the video below. Please share back if you figure out another way to fix it.

Have a similar issue that needs to be fixed. Curious though, do your by chance have kind of rattle sound when hitting sharp bumps?

I don't hear any weird sounds with this. It seems only 2-3 clips are missing/broken. Maybe your clips are in your bumper?

You will have to remove the rear bumper, luckily it is a very easy process. Pick up a few extra plastic clips before you do it and you will be good to go.

That's a much better price than OEM. Hopefully they work well.

Had the same thing happen to me after backing into a snow pile last winter. I removed all the bolts from the middle of the bumper cover to the wheel well to get a better look. Turns out nothing was broken, just unbolting the bumper was enough to get the cover seated on the original clips.
