My fan bearing bracket ( or whatever its called...) cracked into many pieces without causing a fan ejection... just got noisy so I was real lucky!!
I got the old one out and was inspecting the timing belt, it was done 8 months ago by someone else I hired. I can turn the upper tensioner bearing by hand easily... its not real tight against the belt??? This is the bearing that is around the water inlet in the center of the engine. Should the belt be this loose? Should I retension it?
Want to figure out if this is normal before I button it back up.
Cheers
