I have a 95 and it died last night. I thought it was a battery problem, but now I'm not so sure. I got a jump yesterday and it started right up. Last night, it wouldn't start so I bought a new battery. Once the new battery was in, I got nothing. No sounds, no lights, nothing. Could it be the alternator? I'm confused...

If your alternator was no good, after jump starting your t4r, you wouldnt have made it very far. with your alt not working, your vehicle will run until the battery does not have enough power to run the injectors and ignition coils. i would check your new battery, mkae sure it is good and make sure it was not connected backward. if the new battery was connected backward, the main fuse could have fried or the ecm could have fried

You can run a car for quite a while on just battery power. If you installed a new battery and still have no power to start or run the vehicle, you have a blown fuse (as mentioned) or broken wire/relay/switch. Time to buy a volt meter and start doing some testing to see where you drop power or ground.
