I just picked up a used 93 4runner not too long ago... so far i love it, however, sometimes when backing out of the drive and bouncing onto the street, there is a loud pop or crack noise that sounds like 2 pieces of metal just ground against each other for a split second.
A friend suggested a u-bolt problem he had on an old blazer.
It only happens after the truck sits for a while and gets "jolted" or bounces suddenly. once it pops, it wont do it again till it sits a while.
anyone know of such a problem or have any idea what it could be?
