I'm confused... these are all modified vehicles not one is stock. In fact they all look like they have mild lifts and springs at the least with larger tires and armor...

I ~think~ he means not over the top BroDozer Overland poser style and still get out and about.

Mods are reasonable considering the use.

And.....they're not even all Toyotas. There was a Jeep, a Mazda and a Nissan Patrol....to name a few. Most of what was pictured could be accomplished by just about any 4wd vehicle.

I grew up in East Africa and we ran a 70 series troopy. Pretty amazing how capable they are stock. Choosing the right line also went a long ways. With no parts or shops around it was critical to respect the trails and know what limits of the rig were.

My car has a 25 inch lift, dawg. I offroaded it hardcore in the grass, smoked my friends Jeep Liberty.

It runs 9 sec 1/4 mi because my uncle swapped in a cadillac V8-6-4.
