Low Profile Light Cage

I'm looking to either buy or build a low profile light cage to mount behind my sunroof. Ideally, I'd like to buy the cage, like the one in the picture. I just don't want/need a 10" high light bar. Anybody have something mounted on their rig to give me some ideas?

Is this what you're looking for? It's a smittybilt roof rack with the lightcage and I custom made the mounts so it's like an inch off the roof. Ask if you want any different pictures

If you can weld I'd build one out of EMT conduit.

Heres what i had on my first gen. Fits four 7in HiDs. Made out of mostly conduit. Only the bottom tube is .120 wall mild steel. And since it was on the taller side, i made the mounts to where it dropped it down below my roof. Almost to my windshield. Nothing but compliments on it. And since i don't have a bender, i just cut, welded, and put some character in it. Look closely, it had somewhat of a radius to where it almost wraps around my windshield! Not what you're looking for, but hey. Maybe it'll give you some ideas!

Do you have any pictures of how it mounts to the rack? Do you have any issues with it rattling or moving a lot? I've been contemplating mounting the light cage only, but I'd need to see how it mounts to something else to see if it would be sturdy enough to make a bracket and have it stay in place.

I might go that route and actually just build a roof rack and have the cage built into it. I have access to an entire metal shop, so I might as well put it to use!

I like the idea of it being contoured to the roof lines as well. It'd be nice to have a template to work with, but I guess that's what comes with doing custom work!

I just bought a rack for my Runner. I like these..just still like the old skool looks of round lights. Hoping to get my rack installed in the next couple weeks...then I can start working on this issue also.
