Low Profile Load Warrior Installation

About 2 years ago I think I read on here (can no longer fine by searching), a way to install a Yakima Load Warrior "under" the factory cross bars.

If I remember correctly there was a way to do it, but would have to do a little engineering.

Do any of you remember this? Was it Yakima or maybe Thule?

Anyone have experience of doing a roof basket5 and still able to park in a normal garage?

What's your version of a 'normal' garage? My garage clears the top of my runner by about 2 feet. Plenty of room for a roof rack

I have the Mega Warrior and it doesn't fit between the side bars. If the Load Warrior is narrower its possible. Just measure between the bars and check the specs on the Load Warrior.
