Low speed noise...especially when slowing down to stop

So I had some new tires installed on our 2006 4runner sport model a couple months ago, brand new Michelins. Not the coolest looking tire, but they ride like butter and have been quiet until a few weeks ago. It happened after I got ran off the road into a ditch, I wasn't going too fast but it was a deep ditch and had to use the 4wd to get it out. Took a while to clean all the mud out but no I found no damage, it does have a noise when slowing down now though. Almost sounds like I'm running a mud tire with lugs but i can only here it when i slow down from like 30mph to a stop.

I took the front wheels off today and did another inspection, everything looks good except for a tore cv axle boot on the driver's side. I'm leaning towards an alignment issue at this point....what do you think?

Alignment for sure. I'll hazard a guess of tires toed in too much.

If you managed to tear a boot from the accident (or maybe it was that way already) then it's likely that CV joint is on the way out. That could be your noise. Does it get any better/worse when making turns?

In either case, if the CV isn't already ruined you need to take care of that ASAP.
