That can obviously be explained by simply needing the greater range of motion, and being willing to do a lot more maintenance.

That special care requirement is the very definition of weaker not stronger. It's more specialized to be better at one thing, at the expense of all other things. You take it extreme offroading one weekend and then spend the next 2 weeks prepping it again for the next event, just like a race car or an extreme anything-else.

While mom drives the stocker around and never does 5 minutes of maintenance.

Neglect a heim joint with weight hanging directly sodeways 24x7 for 20 years of winters and salt etc without it popping out and then you can call it "stronger".

Still stronger then a regular ball joint. It's a fact. There's a reason why off road fabrication companies choose a uniball ( exposed ) or HEIM join for control arms and sway bars. Or those crazy rock crawling machines. Yea of course it requires maintenance. I don't know what world you live in that you don't expect to maintain your off road vehicle ? I have uniba UCA and live in nj. Been through 2 winters and good. Because I rinse it , lube it maintain it. But it's stronger and beefier then my stock.

Run stock and break it in a min and fix it for 2 weeks or run all day and maintain it properly

Keep in mind this is the same person that said the following about swapping 4th Gen front LCA's, and LBJ's onto his 3rd Gen.

I don't see anything that requires a major rearranging of all the front end parts, not even a new spindle, Just the lower control arm and the the carrier that holds the current ball joint which just bolts on to the spindle.

do you have any contact information for him? I live close and have a CNC guy that does small batch runs easily on off road parts as he has done a lot of stuff on his garage CNC lathe for me over the years.
