As I mentioned in a prior post, my existing front lower control arms are damaged due to previous owner stupidity and need to be replaced. Since the aftermarket arms all seem to be not very good ideas at best, I've been scouting used original ones in junkyards. I've also been looking for some spare steering knuckles/uprights to put new bearings on and do a quick swap into my truck. I've managed to locate a few candidates but none are from my exact year and configuration. I've got a 2000 2WD truck but I'm finding either 2WDs of 96-99 or 4WDs of 01-02 to choose from. Which if any of these lower control arms can I use? Can I use the earlier 3rd gen 2WD knuckles? Thanks.
