I know some of you have seen on my thread about how I squished my frame mount for my lower link on the passenger side -
This is pretty common if you wheel your rig. In fact, I was hoping to use the passenger side mount as a template and during this process I found out that side is tweaked too.
I went back and forth on designing my own frame mount versus welding on a new stock mount and reinforcing it and had landed on welding on a stock mount and reinforcing. This keeps the stock geometry and I already have links (thanks [MENTION=118730]AssBurns[/MENTION]) running as a 3 link so I didn't want to change out links (lengthen-shorten-whatever).
Thankfully someone has come out with a reinforcement so that I don't have to build one -
Link to info - Lower Link Mount Reinforcement. Added bonus is I thought I was going to have to weld on a new mount which means dropping the fuel tank, never thought of using the reinforcement to bend mine back in to shape. Hopefully can slap these on without dropping the fuel tank.
