LR UCAs or Camburg UCAs

So I was just about to get some Light Racing UCAs because they use the factory ball joint instead of a uni-ball. But then it came to my attention that the Camburgs can be bought with a factory-style ball joint as well. So now I don't know which one I should go with. Any thoughts? Opinions from people who have either? They aren't really good at giving specs for the Camburgs, so I may just stick with the LR.

The Light Racings come with their own ball joint. Where the camburg's require you to use the factory ball joint. In my experience installing UCA's it's not easy prevent damage to the ball joint. I also think the LR have more adjustability. My vote is for LR.

Oh right. I forgot to mention I'm getting new moog ball joints to put in either one, either way. But if the LR have more adjustability, then that's the plan I'm sticking to. Thanks! KCCO

You may want to do some additional checking if you're going to use Moogs. I don't remember which one it was, but there is an UCA out there that doesn't work with the Moogs. I thought it was the Camburgs, but I'm not sure. I've heard there is a slight difference in sizing between the OEM and Moogs...plus with the Camburgs, you are press fitting the ball joint into a solid steel capture vs. a stamped steel casting. I guess the stamped steel gives more and allows the ball joint to slide in.

Hmmm. Well I think I was wrong. I just got the LR UCAs in today, and they have a bolt-on ball joint supplied with them. Definitely not the "OE Style" I was looking for. Shoot. I'll have to look at these Camberg installs and see if they have actual OE ball joints.

Just for the sake of later search results. If you want OE ball joints to work- for example, Moog lifetime warranty ones- then Camburg is the way to go between these two.
