im about to start pretty much the same swap, im thinking of running the np241c case becuase i would rather the manual shift over the electric. good luck on your build!

Thanks for the heads up on that. I had just replaced my ball joints in my 300zx with Moog and they are suppose to be the best you can get. (Nissan claims they were not replacable so they don't make any).

Actually nevermind since I can get front upperd and lowers from the shop I work at around $150 for all four in the Sankei(spelling?) 555.

Where is the best place to get these ball joints online OEM upper and lower? Also should I go with Napa CV axles sinces they're lifetime replacement?

Bear with me on this swap! Its going to be slow since this is my DD and I want everything to just as reliable when finish! I'm think of buying a totalled one so I mock everyrhing up first.

Do you think the stock 1997 4wd 5 speed trans, stock front and rear diff, could handle the 5.3 swap?
