LT vs. P-rated Revo Tires (should I baby them)?

I'm trying to figure out if I should baby my new Bridgestone Revos just because they are passenger tires. And if so, how much?

I've ran LT tires on my 88 Pathfinder for years (the LT tires are Kelly Springfield Pathfinders) . They've taken all the abuse I can throw at them, with only a little light chunking of the tread in really adverse/rocky situations.

I don't do a lot of severe off-roading at all - maybe a couple times a year it gets into some semi-rough situations. The Revos came from Costco, which gives them a 50k mile prorated road hazzard warranty.

So should I be seriously more careful with these P-rated Revos than I would my LT's?

P rated A/T tires are kinda like military intelligence.

Contradiction of terms...an A/T tires should be stronger and beefier to withstand off roading and be a good on road tire. However, how does one reconcile a P rated 4 ply tire as A/T?

Revos ought to be a fantastic all weather/all season tire and a P rating should not hurt it, but depending on your definition of "off roading", I'd be less abusive to the Revos...
