Ltd door trim/cladding

Are the doors on '97 SR5 the same as doors on a '99 ltd other than the color keyed cladding? Could the trim from a '99 ltd be attached to a '97 SR5 door and the door used on a '99 Ltd? I found a '99 ltd w/a few door dings, but have a '97 w/good doors, both are Desert Dune. Will they directly interchange? Thanks.

Doors will interchange. Cladding will be a bit more work to swap. You would have to drill holes in your '97 doors to accommodate them. Or figure out a way to maybe shave off the mounting points and find a different way to attach them to the doors with no drilling.

I'm putting limited cladding on my 98. 3M makes some strong double sided tape you can use.
