Funny you should ask this because I was calling dealerships around the area yesterday to get pricing and it's about $2,000.00 - $3,000.00 more for the Nightshade edition than what I paid for my limited last year. If it was available last year, I probably would have picked it up since I don't like all the chrome that's on the standard limited but it wasn't. I'd consider a trade but the way they devalue the 4Runner due to a vehicle's depreciation is just robbery so I just can't justify it. :redbrick:
 
Appearance package. If you want your truck to look like that factor the costs of the mods it would take to get a normal LTD look like that. Then see if that makes sense with the listed price.

I think they look slick. But I off-road hard enough and it would be a waste as I would be scratching, nicking, scraping, chopping, swapping wheels, and replacing bumpers.

I would rock it if I wasn't as active in the dirt. Just buy and drive no major mods (it will fetch more for resale as a nightshade).

Yeah, it's basically a trim package.
Fully blacked out outside *and* inside.
It has the dark interior trim from the TRDs as well as all the black chrome and black wheels outside.
It also has different lower bumper trims front and rear.
But yeah, that's pretty much it.
I like it.

I am still trying to convince the wife that the nightshade is what she should get for her next vehicle.
 
Nightshade is what sold it for me.

My wife and I bought a 2020 night shade a couple of months ago and love it.
The 2020's have upgraded head units and Toyota Safety Sense. I really like the adaptive cruse control too.
 
its dope. i dont like the premium cost or how it makes the interior look less nice without the woodgrain and other limited trim in the interior though

I have 2019 nightshade edition...To be honest, nothing special,just cosmetic in and out...I don't think is worth extra money... especially inside, everything is extra sensitive for scratches...
